Just asking for clarification, does the display on a calculator/laptop count as the display?
Rule 3.c.
The Device must have a digital readout that clearly displays the temperature in degrees Celsius and the
potential in Volts. This can be displayed on a laptop or calculator. If teams choose to use a laptop for
display purposes this laptop may not be used on the written exam.

Can we bring a multimeter to measure resistance? The rules don't explicitly state anything.

Why is a Raspberry Pi listed in the rules manual when you cannot use a), a digital thermistor, or b) an off-the-shelf ADC? This leaves only the Arduino and TI Innovator as options.

You can now use a dip ADC and wire it to your RPi is you want to. They updated that FAQ.

Are solderable breadboards allowed? The FAQs say that they prohibit PCBs, but through-hole breadboards such as https://www.allelectronics.com/item/sb- ... ded/1.html (for reference) are often referred to as PCBs as well. Anyone know what the legality of this kind of board would be?

Also, I'm confused about this FAQ: https://www.soinc.org/we-have-built-det ... s-and-then. Does this mean that we must calculate the coefficients by hand and edit the program config files to calibrate? It seems like this FAQ prohibits having the program automatically calculate the coefficients based on different measurement points?

Detector Building rules have become English grammar: a bunch of rules, then exceptions to the rules, then exceptions to the exceptions.

Yep.
You know it’s bad when an event has more FAQs than Mission ever did.
