Counterweights

Post by VansBuilders »

This is the first time I am doing this event for Division B. Any help is greatly appreciated.
The power points say that in the practicing stage, you need a counter weight. When you take the measurements of two or more unknown masses, what is the purpose of the counterweight, or is the counterweight needed?

The counterweight would be to put the lever in static equilibrium as its default position. It's really more for Div C I think, to balance out both levers.
