For number three first, you have to find the torque of both of the sides of the lever. Since torque is force times distance, you would do 0.3m x 1kg (9.8N) which equals 2.94 Nm. Then, you do the other side and you get 4.9Nm. You just have to subtract the numbers to get it to be equal. This gets you 1.96Nm.

For number four you have to do the torque (1.96Nm) divided by 0.4 (the distance) and you get around 4.9N. To convert that to Kg you divide it by 9.8 to get 0.5Kg.
