2) Input resistance is infinite
3) R=p*L/A; Resistance= resistivity*length of wire/cross sectional area
4) Eddy Currents are loops of electrical current induced within conductors by a changing magnetic field in the conductor according to Faraday's law of induction

solenoid was coined by ampere
B = (magnetic constant*current*number of turns)/length
create more turns, add more current

What is the difference between an avalanche diode and a zener diode?

I know if this is really a difference or not, but,

An avalanche diode is designed to experience avalanche breakdown at a specified reversed bias voltage. Zener diodes are are designed to breakdown at a precisely set voltage.

- Wire 1: Length of 2L, Cross-Sectional Area of 2A
- Wire 2: Length of 4L, Cross-Sectional Area of 3A

1) An LED only allows current in one direction, so if it is in backwards (polarity reversed), it won't light up.
2) Total resistance = 15 Ω; P = IV = V²/R; P = 60²/15 = 240 W; P = W/t; 240 = W/3600; W = 864000 J = 860 kJ
3) R=ρL/A; R1 = ρ*2L/2A; R2 = ρ*4L/3A; R2 = R1*4/3, so R2 has the greater resistance
