1. out of curiousity, how would you go about this other than checking the apparent magnitude of all the stars? like do you keep a list of the stars in order of apparent and aboslute mag on your cheat sheet? altho even that seems slow anyway...

Shows clouds of gas containing protostars which are a lot more massive than the sun. Other UV sources are stars in late evolutionary stages. 3. Infrared pierces through clouds and dust and can depict many star-forming regions and other nebulae in a better view. Not sure if I got these right, but that's fine.
