I think they had some kinda severe event drops, since I tracked a lot of medals on them as I was filling out the spreadsheet (for the record, they only dropped six events with medals up to five). I’m glad they still pulled through despite that tho.
What event drops?

Also, those division B scores though

All the ones they didn't place in? Mostly builds, like usual. A long-standing pattern.

Do you know if that was just for Division B or C also? The hook didn't really seem off by any big margin when I tested (for C)
I think it was just B.

I wish our registrations in the state would go back up. I think that would make a 2 point loss, or having the lowest score in the history of Indiana Division B Science Olympiad for 5 minutes easier.
 it sucks. In 2015, we placed second for the first time in a LONG time (like 13 years), and we thought we were going to nationals. But West Virginia started a SciOly program that year.

More programs would definitely be good. But I think we might be a little saturated, i.e. the schools that are big enough to have problems probably do, so it's become a question of expanding to medium and smaller schools, who have an inherent disadvantage in an activity that needs at least 15 members. Indiana's also not a geographically large state (nor are the demographics growing that quickly), which is another reason registrations haven't increased much. We'll see what happens, but I don't know if we'll get that second nationals spot anytime soon.

I will say RP's improvement in the last 4 years is fantastic.

I'm not onsite, so I'll only update if there's a livestream. If you are onsite, feel free to update.
Don't mean to make anyone feel bad but the results of herp C looks out of whack. Again no offense but 5 of the bottom teams placed top 5?

I really wasn't expecting Raymond Park to do that well. This should be interesting, to say the least.

It's quite interesting how well Raymond has been doing the past few years, but I think after this year they will start to plateau or decline. I believe some of their stronger freshmen will be gone after this year. They also seemed pretty confident this year considering some of them were talking about going to nats and winning state. I still think they'll be a threat in the coming years, but not as much as they were this year.

Also congrats to Carmel on that 2 point win. Was expecting more of a gap, but Munster really fought for it.

I'm still getting over how low those middle school scores were. Are those teams that good or has our competition gone down that significantly?
