This is probably what happened. South probably won by just ~5 points. Still kind of annoying tho nglbuilderguy135 wrote:Maybe Div. C was extremely close? I thought they only took a while to release results in 2017 because they were controversial but I guess...?

Re: New Jersey 2019
Oof results for WWPN; usually they're amazing at Chemistry events via USNCO but with the only pure Chemistry event of the season it didn't work
*Interesting note: If Montgomery placed on all non-placing events and with a tiny bit of variation, this would have been a very close 3 way tie (104 assuming 6th for non-placing and with 21 non-1st place finishes, could have easily been 83 while noting WWPN/WWPS scores would have been raised)
Great job to all the teams, especially for Princeton HS on coming back to the top 4! Good luck to WWPS and Community at nationals - make us proud

Re: New Jersey 2019
Looking at the (extremely) close results it looks like there wasn't much difference between North and South. What does this say about national predictions?

Re: New Jersey 2019
Something interesting to note: this is South's 10th time winning states, an NJ Division C record (Montgomery has 9 wins, from 1997-2005).

Congrats to everyone!
I wrote the Fossils Div. C test, but couldn't attend the tournament to supervise. If you have any feedback/questions about the test, feel free to ask!

Nine points is not considered close in NJ. Two years ago we won by a point.dxu46 wrote:Looking at the (extremely) close results it looks like there wasn't much difference between North and South. What does this say about national predictions?
