^ Yea what does it symbolize? New teams?
pb5754[] is right, the bold symbolizes teams who have already qualified.

Just curious - how did you make the assumption that Rustin would place 2nd at states, rather than Lower Merion? LM got 1st at regionals, and a good 40 points over Rustin.
After hearing this, I would be obligated to replace Rustin with LM, I guess I just haven't been looking too deeply into PA this year.

Anyways your predictions for B I think are pretty solid. For the top ten all I would do is switch Gelinas and Kennedy. Those are the only two that stuck out to me. As for Div C I'm not that well versed, but I would rearrange 6-15 in some sort of way. I just feel like Boca and Mounds View are top ten teams from results.
Also to those wondering, I believe the teams bolded are ones who have qualified for nationals.
(Yes, I put TJ that high due to what looked like a very impressive state performance)
Looking back on my B top 10, it does seem more plausible for me to switch Kennedy and Gelinas.
As for C, I do think Mounds View could get top 10. As for Boca Raton, I'm not so sure; they did only get 27th last year, and top 10 would be quite an improvement.

Personally I think Carmel can improve from 24th this year instead of drop lower but I could also possibly be optimistic. Their studies look overall stronger than last year, if only their builds could match (they've always been a wildcard for our team). The only reason why state was so close this year was because of build drops (most likely due to not necessarily predictable circumstances too).
I certainly don't know as much about Carmel as you do

, but I may consider bumping them up 2-3 spots. While I made these predictions, I kind of just assigned teams a 'range', a group (such as 20th-30th) that I could feel comfortable putting them in. Granted, I don't think Carmel will do any worse than, say, 28th, but I can't really see them doing better than, maybe, 22nd. Just my thoughts.

1. Northville is too high I think. Possibly Enloe as well. Not too sure about Columbia, I'd put them like 8th.
2. LM over Rustin.
3. Switch Stevenson and NT.
4. Push Boca up a spot or two.
1. I don't feel comfortable moving Northville down very far, but I may bump them down a few spots, due to the strength of the teams I have below them.
2. Addressed above
3. I kind of have no idea of how NT and Stevenson have been doing this year, so I may do a bit of research on them.
4. Again, they were 27th last year, and while I feel they are a much stronger team this year, the strength of the teams above them makes me want to leave them where they are. I may still end up bumping them up 1-2 spots, though.

Some thoughts:
I would put Gelinas a bit lower, they are doing well but not to the point of finishing top 3.
Hamilton (WI) seems a bit too high.
Chippewa has improved quite a bit - maybe top 20 caliber?
Why Redmont and not Evergreen?
Hopkins is more likely to qualify than South Windsor, though Staples also has a shot.
Northville and Enloe a bit too high, I think, and Boca, Mounds View, and Harriton should all be a bit higher.
This is addressed above; on second glance, it seems safer to put them in 5th rather than 3rd.
Hamilton may be a little high, but I don't think it's completely out of the question for them to get top 10; again, they did beat Daniel Wright this year.
I really had no idea on where to put Chippewa, my range for them was much wider than most teams, mainly because I haven't really heard about how they're doing this year.
I picked Redmond to win because they placed both 2nd and 3rd at WA state last year, and wasn't that far behind Evergreen (12 points). If they stack this year, they may be able to pull off a win.
I do agree Hopkins is more likely to win; my reason for picking South Windsor was along the lines of "Hey, I've got to pick some upsets somewhere", and South Windsor did only lose by two points last year.
Northville, Boca, and MV are all addressed above. I do agree Enloe may be 1-2 spots too high, but I still think they're a very strong team this year, and I won't be surprised if they get top 10 again. As for Harriton, they have been having a bit of a down year, and while I may bump them up a spot or two, I don't envision them doing any better than, say, 7th.

16. Ladue MS (MO)
26. Pembroke Hill MS (MO)
23. Pembroke Hill HS (MO)
Now THAT'S a
bold move
(Yes, I do still think MO will get the second bid) I do think Ladue has the potential to get top 20, and 16th doesn't seem too unlikely for them. As for Pembroke B, they may do a few spots better than where I have them, but I don't really see them doing as well as Ladue. I feel comfortable about where I put Pembroke C.

19. Iolani School (HI)
1. Why do you think Iolani will overtake us?
2. Iolani did pretty good at Kraemer, taking 7th. I'd think they'd be higher.
3. Rip us haha
1. Regionals results, I guess. I think HI B could be very close this year, and Highlands still has a very good chance of coming out on top.
2. I haven't been paying attention to invite results for them this year. I don't think 7th would make me want to move them up more than a couple spots higher, however, unless they beat some other strong teams.
3. Again, Highlands could easily still come out on top this year.

mega point i was just about to say that
i think its likely that rustin wont make it, lm has been crazy strong these past two years
though, i dont mean this to be offensive in any way
i think lm hhs and rustin have the biggest chance at the pa nats spot for div c this year
all in all, good luck to all of the teams as i wish for each and every one of the teams to make it
Agreed, Lower Merion is much more likely to go to Nationals than Rustin after hearing regional results. While I do still think Rustin has a good chance, Harriton and LM are still significantly more likely to qualify.
