My least favorite are pure study events(although I like all build events... Not just MTV
)
In all honesty, though, there's just something that's so so so special about learning something like astronomy. I can't really describe it in words (and this has been causing me much anguish while trying to write college apps...), but there's this fascination, this wonder, this excitement to know to ask questions, to enrich yourself.
(There has to, otherwise, I wouldn't want to wake up an hour early each day and study astro lol)
I do agree that build events are ridiculously fun, even when they don't work. All in all, there's just something magical about basically any event that Science Olympiad has to offer.
Couldn’t have said it better. I am just naturally bad at most study events except Meteorology and a few others.

Re: Favorite Event?
Opposite, my least favorite are build events (though they do have their own special charm) because seeming all the effort completely fail because that one support snapped on the bus ride there is so heartbreaking. (Me:"Hey look one snapped!" Partner: "It'll be fine, just glue it back together" Later: "We are adding 1 gram of sand to the load" SNAP)
Ohayo!

I know it's apples to oranges, but just wait until you're doing astronomy (next year I presume). Astronomy is the best event. No ifs ands or buts.OctoPiGenius wrote:DEFINITELY Solar System.
