i just go with a cool .25 margins w/ vertical format. no columns, no special boxes, just lines and highlights man.

it's worked pretty well for me in DD, and it's my 2nd year doing the event

as i said before and something ill always preach: you shouldn't rely on your notes
dang what cool disease tests are you taking that don't just ask you to list stuff and ask about random diseases
although i rarely use it, around 3/4ths of a page is dedicated solely to random diseases, their symptoms, etc.

i have all of the common diseases, and some rare diseases (depending on what i've come across before)
other than that, most of what i come across is asking you to apply skills and whatnot. like the nats tests never did require you to know anything about the diseases, it js required you to analyze the data and apply it

USE MICROSOFT WORDDDDDDDDDD
You can make the font smaller & use smaller margins.
OR you can handwrite it jkjk :P

After reading this thread I have come to the conclusion that you are all casuals. The superior method is to handwrite your notes. This way I already memorize half of the information and I can choose any font size and spacing that I want.

And then you can lose your notes, get them dirty, or take hours to copy them :P

Yeah, and then walk into the event wearing silly hats pretending you didn't study at all and then get first place

Google Docs is okay as a starting point for both partners to get their information in order, plus that way you can work on it on multiple devices. Definitely agree that Word and/or Google Sheets is a better place for formatting the final cheatsheet, though (can attest to Sheets in particular, I managed to fit all of the ID information for Water Quality on a front-and-back page with it).
