I almost stole a (partially empty) Costco-size box of Welch's fruit snacks from some team my freshman year at a chess invite, but I chickened out and only took a couple packets.
To this day I regret not taking the whole box.

My B division team had a tradition of going to Golden Corral after every major or out-of-state tournament, and we would also make up some bad inside joke at each. It was fun and all, but...

My C division team is too stoic for such heresy!
OMG!! we went there after state last year, and we didn't know that you had to pay for take out boxes, so by the time we figured out, we had already crammed as much food into the boxes. Instead of paying for all the food, we mixed it all up to create this gross sludge stuff, and threw it all away. Our team is not going to heaven anytime soon.

At invitationals, we bring a stuffed pikachu which most of us put our medals and ribbons on. Who ever goes to get the trophy bring the pikachu.
You will never have this day again so make it count.

Our school has a stuffed blobfish that we carry up whenever we win something. I like to carry it around to competitions. Also, not really a tradition..but...We all have green foam fingers that say "Cerro Villa" on it with an atom. We generally like to act like freaks every time we win something, especially first place medals. We scream for hm, maybe a few minutes.

Usually, after our team goes to Antelope Valley Regional we go to this Chinese (everybody in my team is Asian  )restaurant in good ol' Arcadia if we won 1st place especially. (I heard that this was a 3 years-old tradition from my older friends since I'm new to Science Olympiad)

For states, we make a Publix run the night before for Kickstart and other comp essentials, and at least 6 people end up getting family size bags of Publix fried chicken. Also cards against humanity the night before and bringing longboards to competition (at least 8 people bring longboards).
