Most people I know enjoy deep space stuff (content of Reach for the Stars) more then Solar System.

OT: Sound of Music for Div C because that event was made for band geeks.

Although that may be awesome Science Olympiad tries to expose you to different kinds of fields of science to provide variety and tries to focus on the experience more than the epic-ness(:P) But, in my opinion, all the building events are VERY exciting.
2013
Disease Detectives- 4th
Helicopters- 1st
Road Scholar- 5th
Write it Do it- 2nd

Ecology. I love water quality, don't get me wrong, but ecology had a lot more material.

Which events do you wish rotated back in? Mine are Optics and Bottle Rockets.
I WANT BOTTLE ROCKET AND MICROBE MISSION BACK!!!! I was so upset when microbe wasn't there and I've been doing bottle rocket since my first year.
Please, not Bottle Rockets. My team made some innovative stuff, letting us place at Nats. But launching rockets in the snow at 9:00 at Saturday is very uncomfortably. I would rather do something else for a while. It was fun to watch, but very irritating when it got stuck in a tree, had a fin break, or fell early due to shifting wind patterns.
Amen. It is an entirely luck based event. In 2011, my teams bottle rocket landed on a roof, and the timers didnt stop their clocks. After siting on the roof 13 seconds, it rolled off, giving us 3rd place at nats. Another time, all the rockets were ripped apart for the first few periods of one of the invitationals by extremely high winds, which gave way to clear skies and big thermals for the teams that competed in the last few periods that day.

All in all, terrible event.

Bring back:

Naked egg drop
Microbe mission
Solar system
Shock value capacitors
