ECOLOGY! I hate the bugs of WQ.
I'd like to see Ecology come back too! The complete lack of events on non-human vertebrates is a big hole in the breadth of Science Olympiad, in my opinion.
But, for four years, we cover amphibians, reptiles, and birds :? . It's marine zoology, especially fish, that gets possibly subpar treatment in SO. It goes without saying, by number, there are a lot more invertebrates on this rock than vertebrates, so it makes sense that we encounter bugs in events. There is an oceanography event, but it's broad, not fish ID or anything. I imagine there's a good reason that isn't an event already.
