Prepare for an angry mob (especially for the astro part...okay, I know it's opinions, but stillllll). I guess I try not to dislike events...I mean, I'm not necessarily great at builds, and I don't really like bio, but I find ways to like them enough if I need to (this is just because I may as well respond to the general topic, heh).
B: Crave the Wave, Environmental Chemistry, Robo-Cross, Meteorology, Physical Science Lab, Solar System, DyPlan (E and V), Shock Value
C: Microbe Mission, DyPlan (Earth's Fresh Waters), Fermi Questions, GeoMaps, Gravity Vehicle, Scrambler, Rocks, Astronomy
Grad: Writing Tests/Supervising (NY/MI)

Ha, I have prepared. xP I don't hate Astronomy. It's just extremely low on my favorite events list, for reasons of personal preference.

This is my first year, and I haven't done Olympiad yet,so I could be wrong.I almost got disease detectives, and I looked at the info, and flipped out. It looks like a seriously boring event.

I don't know. Someone that I know did it and said it was boring, but people have different definitions of boring.

Yes, like how I hate physics (other than electricity and magnetism. SHOCK VALUE IS THE BEST!) but love everything else.

Some events seem like that, but most of the time they grow on you. Whatever events you've been assigned for this year, if you got one that you don't love so far, just give it time.
That being said, my least favorite event would probably be either Entomology or Circuit Lab. Bugs scare me. As for Circuit Lab, I'm more of a bio/chem person, less of physics. I intend to avoid it for as long as possible.
2013 Events:
Sounds of Music, Rocks and Minerals, Dynamic Planet, Metric Mastery: 2nd, Regionals

Hopeful 2014 events:
Dynamic Planet, Rocks and Minerals, Technical Problem Solving, Designer Genes, Astronomy*, MagLev*

IM AN ALICORN
