I have to thank you for this. I didn't know this existed, and I can already tell it will be immensely useful in studying for next year. Before the real rules come out, at least.Schrodingerscat wrote:That file can be found here: http://www.soinc.org/trial_eventsalwaysmatts wrote:where did u got those rules for 2015?Astroknight wrote:From what I can tell, yes. Say what? Picture This is coming in for Metric Mastery? Anyone know how sure this is, because not only will I find this event super fun, my sister and I are psychic. Literally. We can say gibberish that even we know doesn't make grammatical sense, and we know what we mean

Same! I am moving up to C next year and I want to do SciOly very badly, but...high school is busier, and I may not have time to do it next year...silverheart7 wrote:I'm really excited for the events next year, since I'm moving up to C.

Somewhat random. They do try to take some things into consideration. For example, they wouldn't put Fossils in the same time as Entomology.

Re: Science Olympiad 2014-2015 Events
I think that events in the same discipline tend to not conflict. I've not noticed any conflicts btwn Astro, DyPlan, Remote/Geo, and Rocks/Fossils before, nor have I noticed any between the life sciences and the chemistry's and etc.SWAnG wrote:Oh by schedule I meant like time blocks stuff, is there any way to predict it? Like will they be relatively similar or is it adjusted randomly?
If you've got events across multiple disciplines...hard to predict. Like TPS and Chem Lab fell in the same slot this year b/c they were technically different disciplines according to SO categories, even though the topics actually were somewhat related
