Pretty good writeup. Note it'll be very obvious in the new rules what applies to what since we switched from a numbered based system (1-5) to letters (A-C). You all will also probably be happy to hear we evaluated all the events and realized that several events where we required eye protection in the past really didn't warrant it, hence we've removed that.Unome wrote:You can also see a good explanation of the policy by John Richardsim here

Makes more sense than the old system...
Not that you planned it this way, but it could be understood as...
A = average eye protection
B = blastworthy eye protection
C = chemical eye protection

Right, we've got a few old "Type 2" glasses in our team box that just don't get used. Don't know where they came from... seems like it makes sense to just buy B's and C's and then tell the kids that anything is an A.
