The worst was last year with Robot Ramble and how just about everything went wrong at competition, but not at practice.
The best thing was medaling in all of my events at state this year and getting 3rd over all as a team.

The whole last week was so nerve racking.

Worst first:
A kid on our team managed to break his foot AND saw off three of his finger tips in one week.
We forgot the Junkyard challange at home. (5 hours away)
We only brought one rocket. (Though...running around, digging through plastic recycle bins for a bottle and getting weird looks from people was extremely fun!)

Best for last:
Our team all pitched in Junk for a quick, last ditch attempt junk box and showed amazing support for both the junkyard and egg-o-naut events(and all other events as well!), and I'm very happy to be part of said team.
I got 2nd in It's About Time. (We got last at regionals, so I was a bit shocked)
I got to spend a weekend doing what I love and surrounded by other people that love science.

worst thing that happened for the team: building events...uhh..hehe...yeah... :?
worst thing that happened to me: meteorology...

best thing for the team: awesomeness of just hanging out with other science people (and skipping school ;) ) and also just seeing us doind better than regionals.
best thing for me: FOSSILS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

Worst, team: EVERY tech event failed last year at Nats.
Worst, me: 21st in Food Sci at Nats when we thought we might have medaled :-(

Best, team: 6th at Nats in '06 :D (this was the year before I joined the team, mind you... it's our best finish, though)
Best, me: 3rd in WIDI at Nats (plus every competition is amazingly fun, just the whole atmosphere of it)

the worst in when my team got 20th in robot because the robot wouldn't move on the surface that our coach look up and found out wasn't legal... we still won, i got 1st in my event but it made our score like 133% higher from the one we would have had

the best was being part of last year team at nationals and getting 2nd in my event in the nation as a freshmen!!!!

woohoo... i have 3 events this year...

Best was last year when we got really high at states, 6th, when no one expected us to. I also got 9 medals that year!

Worst...this past year at the high school. Finished 15th at regionals and our team medaled in two events :| . I also got two medals. But I'm going with the middle school team to states as a student coach! :D
