ive heard of coheed and fair to midland...they're pretty good. i myself, will listen to most anything as long as it's not rap (i don't hate it, some of it's all right, but it's just NOT me) or classical. country is ok, depending on the artist, but my top 5 favorite bands would have to be: the monkees (old 60's band that my dad's listened to since before i was born and then he got me to love them too), Cake, the Dropkick Murphys, the All American Rejects (some of their songs are kinda depressing though), and probly lynyrd skynyrd.

Agreed some of All American Rejects songs are depressing. But sometimes it seems all they write about if you really listen to the song is how a girl broke their heart.

dude, classical is cool!
....much of it, anyway. Thas maybe 'cause i've played piano since 2nd grade
but country is so.... blearghhhh (no offense to country-lovers, i just feel like expressing my random opinion)

do listen to the medic droid and they are pretty much amazing. i also really like Attack! Attack!, Breathe Carolina, The Ready Set, 3OH!3, and other electronica stuff like that =]
