But we DID rally. Next time, perhaps.
Yes you did rally and I began to get scared when Rogers went in to pitch for the Rox

I realize I am a bit late on this, but I am very pleased to see the Mets turn it around slightly by winning the series vs the Yanks. Now they're putting up decent offensive numbers in almost every game. I guess it was a bit too early to forget about the (morally) superior NY team. Things can only improve once the pitching staff becomes healthy.

Of course, I am likely to eat my words in the next two games with the Phillies in town. Such is life as a Mets fan.

Dunno if you noticed, but the Nats have a winning record. Which is more than the Mets can say. :P
shut it!!!!!
the Mets beat the Yankees in the series 3-0 (yeah i realized they are on a 4-game win streak...)!!! lol!!!

and i do agree with zekebud
as soon as the Mets have a consistent pitching staff and play a few games to figure it out, the Mets will once again start winning

Because one and a half months isn't enough to figure it out? :P Even when the Mets are healthy, the Phillies are too deep and consistent for the Mets to overtake them in the long run.

After games, on MLB.com there is a line graph that keeps track of tweet volume from hashtags. Unfortunately, the Texas Rangers get their count bolstered because of tweets about the NY Rangers. I found that a bit interesting.

9-1
.88 ERA

Of Corse this is the BEST PITCHER IN THE MAJORS AT THIS MOMENT, Ubaldo Jimenez. Sorry but Halliday is nothing compared to Jimenez and IMO Phillies will end up being the biggest idiot if he does not choose Jimenez to start the All Star Game.

that's why the mets crushed the phillies the first night???
and the mets now have a wining record... and i believe they will soon move up a few more places in the division.
the mets are on a 4-game winning streaks whereas the phillies are on a 4-game losing streak

Pop quiz: Without looking, can anyone tell me who is second in the majors in batting average?
