http://www.artofproblemsolving.com

Lotta free tests, forums with people who are absolute beasts, etc.

It's more significant than SciOly is for science.

Last year, when I went to national mathcounts, the rest of my team was on the forums. We went to nats, and they knew, honestly, everybody from that forum.

May I assume that the B was also very difficult then? I really hope so, or else my major competition in my state (they all take the B) will have a huge advantage over me, as the A was very hard for an AMC.
Btw, for those of you who want to know exactly what you got on AMC-10 or 12 A, the answers (according to the beasts of AoPS) are here:
AMC10-A: http://www.artofproblemsolving.com/Foru ... &year=2010
AMC12-A: http://www.artofproblemsolving.com/Foru ... &year=2010

To find the answer to a given problem, click on the number of the problem on the left. You will be redirected to that same problem on the AoPS forums, where I will bet money that the answer they have is correct.

EDIT: Omfg! Just found out that one of the ones I thought I got right, I got wrong? Only 127.5? Couple more and I won't even make AIME!

But making AIME is really good in the first place...

Aargh! Made a stupid mistake! My score is now down to 121.5! (That's my final score, according to AoPS) My score has gone from being mediocre, to bad, to awful. Aargh! Stupid mistakes ftl!
Btw EAST, making AIME is elementary to me...
My goal this year is Red MOSP, to put it into perspective...

And Red MOSP is...?

And it may be awful for you, but I sure would love to get a 121 on the AMC 10.

Red MOSP:
AMC10<AIME<USAJMO<Red MOSP (for freshmen)

Yeah I'm a bit out of the loop haha. I've been trying to study off some old years' contests my teachers kept, but that's about it. To put it in perspective from my standpoint, my school gets about 2-3 AIME qualifiers a year, but the best combined score of AMC and AIME we've ever had is 168, set my freshman year by a then senior (who in a bizarre coincidence was actually my predecessor for Astronomy on our SO team). I'm hoping that next year I'll be the first kid from our school to make USAMO, but it looks like it'll be crazy hard to do so.
2007(B):Solar System, Tower Building
2008(C):Food Chemistry, Rocks and Minerals, Fermi Questions, Disease Detectives (as a backup in case of conflicts)
2009:Environmental Chemistry, Forensics, Astronomy, TPS (as backup)
2010:Chem Lab, Environmental Chemistry, Forensics, Astronomy, Picture This

Meh, if I don't make USAMO I'm gonna end up crying...
Um, last year my USAMO index was only 188, 3 really really dumb mistakes on AIME kept me from USAMO (cmon, I got number 10 right, but 1 and 3 wrong? really?)
