Are you insulting real communication?!!! Paper mail is obviously superior. So much faster than texting or calling, and the traditional way is always the best way!pepperonipi wrote: ↑May 5th, 2020, 3:14 pm I'm surprised 6 people put "Something else" in the Staying in Touch poll...

Re: Your Daily Random Comment
I mean, I don't have a Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat or TikTok account, I don't text or own a phone, and my friends don't really go on these forums much, so "Something else" was really my only option (besides video calling, I have been using Zoom a good deal). My primary method of communication is in-person.pepperonipi wrote: ↑May 5th, 2020, 3:14 pm I'm surprised 6 people put "Something else" in the Staying in Touch poll...

I will say that you forgot to put emailing on there, though...

"Blessed are you when people insult you and persecute you, and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Me. Rejoice and be glad, for your reward in heaven is great; for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you." Matthew 5:11-12

Re: Your Daily Random Comment
It just so happens that my channels of communication are nicely divided by the types of people I contact. By order of precedence,
- I use Discord for Carmel Science Olympiad, which is my "something else"
- I use Gmail for North Carolina Science Olympiad
- Aside from scioly.org, Facebook and Messenger are for any other Science Olympiad matters
- I use Instagram to contact my freshman-year roommate
- I use GroupMe for UNC groups, because, for reasons I don't understand, the UNC student body adores GroupMe
- Texts are for (mostly) low-priority matters

I could've sworn that I read something about the fastest mode of communication being by radio wave, via the repeater on the Mars Rover...SilverBreeze wrote: ↑May 5th, 2020, 6:56 pmCarrier pigeon is clearly the fastest and most reliable method of communication.EwwPhysics wrote: ↑May 5th, 2020, 3:34 pmAre you insulting real communication?!!! Yeah, one of the easiest tests to self-study for if you have a teacher who deliberately makes tests and assignments easy... *shrugs*Things2do wrote: ↑May 5th, 2020, 7:34 pmI could've sworn that I read something about the fastest mode of communication being by radio wave, via the repeater on the Mars Rover...SilverBreeze wrote: ↑May 5th, 2020, 6:56 pmCarrier pigeon is clearly the fastest and most reliable method of communication.EwwPhysics wrote: ↑May 5th, 2020, 3:34 pm
