I went to Six Flags Great Adventure today with three of my teammates/best friends. I went from not wanting to go on any rollercoasters, to riding Kingda ka at the end of the day! :D

Ugh, I'm jealous. Once I went for a whole day and rode every single roller coaster except the Kingda Ka because I was too young to go alone and all of the adults were too scared. >.> I haven't been ever since. That would be a trip.

Oh, I forgot you played percussion! Hah that's really cool. I agree with what Silver said--to get better at reading music you just have to keep doing it. You can ask your band director/whomever for help too. I think I might have to play piccolo for band (and I don't know how) so I'm kinda in the same situation.

And since you guys were talkin' 'bout Noteflight, here's some random (unfinished) music that my friend and I tried to arrange last year. We kinda failed, but whatever.

Ha, yeah. I'm slowly working out the kinks in my music reading, but I'm not doing too poorly at rehearsals, mostly because I'm not just sight reading.

So I'm pretty sure I have my events. TPS, GeoMaps, and either MatSci or Dynamic Planet, whichever is more unpopular at my school. If only Fermi and Thermo hadn't gotten screwed over, haha.

I do, at recommendations from last years Sounds thread ^_^ I like it a lot.
I used musescore for a while. Then I realized it didn't really produce good music, so i switched to lilypond. I'm a programmer, so writing music with a programming language is quite natural. And it looks great as well.
