Well...

Science Olympiad (our SO is seven days a week, two/three/four hours a day, so it's very busy)
Science Bowl
Math Team
AMC 8/10
Chattahoochee Valley Community College Math Tournament
Southern Union State Community College Math Tournament
Hoover High School Math Tournament
Drama Club
News Broadcasting
Band
Citywide Community Orchestra
Violin (takes up at least two hours a day)
Piano
Flute
Writing (a lot; it's very big in my life)
Battle of the Books (a local competition)

I don't do sports.

Physics is difficult for 99% of the world's population because they don't understand it. The other 1% know too much.

When I was in high school, I mainly participated in Science Olympiad (co-captain), Future Problem Solving (co-captain), and Community Problem Solving. There were other clubs (for example, National Honor Society) but they didn't require much of my time so I consider them resume-builders at best. During the summer, I would volunteer at our city's arts center and natural history museum as well as intern for a professor at Case Western.

Opinion tangent: My school is competitive within itself, so many students are in many clubs for college application purposes but then aren't able to focus their time and energy onto only a select number of activities, which prevents them from attaining leadership positions or tapping their true potential. Although I don't disagree that having a variety of extracurriculars is great, I believe that in college application-wise and just personal fulfillment-wise, showing that though you participate in few clubs but excel in them is just as strong. Props to those of you guys who can do everything and do amazingly well anyways.
