I just think that you guys should keep in mind that as far as undergrad goes, it doesn't really matter if you go to an Ivy or not. You'll still get into good grad schools (if you go to grad school) or you'll still be able to get a good job if you go to a "lesser" school. It's more of a status symbol, and it's one that I don't think is worth the exorbitant cost.

I also think people should try to take advantage of the state school systems, like SUNY (State University of New York), or whatever state you happen to be in.
2009 events:
Fossils: 1st @ reg. 3rd @ states (stupid dinosaurs...) 5th @ nats.
Dynamic: 1st @ reg. 19thish @ states, 18th @ nats
Herpetology (NOT the study of herpes): NA
Enviro Chem: 39th @ states =(
Cell Bio: 9th @ reg. 18th @ nats
Remote: 6th @ states 3rd @ Nats
Ecology: 5th @ Nats

lol. when you have regionals almost every year at Princeton, and you can go there with your friends in your free time, sometimes you want a change in scenery. but Princeton's a nice place... a really nice place... :)

Pennsylvania State University: University Park Campus
Major: Computer Science and Engineering
Minor: Wildlife and Fisheries Science

I know these seem like odd fields for a girl... My computer teacher, who has been teaching me for four straight years, inspired my love for computer programming, under his guidance I've learned Visual Basic, Java, C#, C++, and hopefully I'll start work on COBOL over the summer before I head off to college =D

As for my Minor, I love participating in the Envirothon so much, I wanted to continue studying that kind of information... I figured I would be pretty good at it all...
