While it's not as much as MIT, I got accepted to Penn State Main, and it's nearly impossible to get any funding from them because they are a state school... I'm going to be in massive debt once I graduate...

But thats when you have to sit back and weigh the factors... Yeah you'll be in debt, but you'll also have the credentials to get a well, high-paying job or position.

I'm going to the University of Wisconsin-River Falls for a physics major. I know the head of the physics department there personally.

I'm still a freshy, but I'm nearly sure I'm going to be an engineer, probably an aeronautical or civil engineer. There is an excellent engineering school nearby- near enough that I wouldn't have to live on campus- with Air Force ROTC for aeronautical engineering (civil engineering as well?) which may seriously be the only way I could afford that school. I probably don't have the extracurriculars for Ivy League (I do a lot, but they're pretty much all science and violin) but if the engineering program at Dartmouth is good, I would like to live in NH. Paying for any decent college is going to be a serious issue though, even with scholarships.

Any Div C people going to Nationals this year, who is interested in engineering, should seriously consider the scholarship Illinois is offering to 1st place finishers: 4 year tuition waiver.
