While most of the seniors from my final Science Olympiad team did go the "science" route (I was one of them), one did differ from the norm. After being an excellent Experimenter (for Experimental Design), he proceeded to go off and major in something English-related (I'm not sure if it's pure English, or something in journalism, or both).

I guess those communications skills and tight writing style worked out in a lab and in English. So far as I know, that's what he's sticking with, too.

(As for me: I'm a Chemical Engineering major at Clarkson University. It's a lovely little school in the middle of nowhere and was quite excellent in my first year and in my now two summers of research.)

Hey...aerospace is the most exciting career out there! I'll be going to college for it the year after next.

yea it's pretty awesome. however, everybody who goes to tech hates tech. i think they have a 60 percent student retention after the first year. yay weed out classes! and supposedly aerospace is their hardest program.

do you know where you are going to college yet?
