I went whale watching once. It was very similar to watching a group of dissapointed people on a boat.

For meteorology, I know you can't get much better than Penn State.

As for physics, http://grad-schools.usnews.rankingsandr ... s-rankings.
So pretty much just really good colleges overall.
That's a ranking of grad schools. Generally, one gets an undergrad degree first. Many schools have a vast difference between the quality of their undergrad and grad programs. Thus, I wouldn't pay much attention to that list...try to find something that is undergrad-specific.

I'm looking at Creighton and Carlton right now, though.
Carlton... the one in Minnesota? I have a cousin who goes there.

I visited the University of Michigan over spring break... it wast pretty nice, and they have some good programs. I still don't know what exactly I'm most interested in, though, and what kind/size college I'd fit in best, so I don't know yet where I might want to go. Meh. (At my school I know freshman who know where they want to go, and juniors who haven't the faintest idea >.>)

UC Irvine, otherwise known as the "university of chinese immigrants" (im not trying to insult anyone btw)
I go to school at Cerro Villa MS. A neighboring school of El Rancho Charter, a once dominating science olympiad team. Rebecca Black goes to El Rancho. It's Friday everyday there. :D

Oooh, I think my top choice right now is Middleburry, because I read that it's pretty good for environmental science. Or Darthmouth.
I'm not even sure if I want my major to be Environmental science though, or something else.. : /

Carleton's not bad. I went there for a summer camp and quite enjoyed it.

Seeing as I have six or seven years to go, I'm not sure whether I should even be posting in this thread. But as of now, I really want to do aerospace engineering at MIT.
Now, all I have to do is win nationals and get a scholarship!
I win.

I dream of Princeton, RPI, Case Western, NYU and Barnard. But they're all quite unrealistic for me financially.

The reason I have so much trouble looking at nice colleges is the simple fact that I DON'T WANT TO BE IN DEBT OVER MY EYEBALLS!
