I am considering Ohio State, Purdue, North Dakota, Jacksonville, Air Force and Navy. All for the great aviation programs, Purdue is at the top of the list

If anybody wants to go the the CO School of Mines I can offer some insight. If you are going there in the next 2 years you will definetely notice the amount of rennovation. The buildings have been around for 110 years so they are being completely overhauled, especially because they are on a steep sloped hill and mudslides occasionally happen. The BRAND NEW student center is pretty sweet. An awesome cafeteria and student lounge area. The campus is very beautiful scenery wise. It is also a very good school academic wise. Anybody looking for a degree in Petroleum, Engineering, or Geology should go here. And by the way, the world USGS is on campus for the geology students. How do I know this stuff??? I have state there every year

People say that UChicago (what most call it) drains the life out of undergrads... one of the highest suicide rates in the country. That doesn't mean it isn't a good school, it is, but from what I hear of people spending overnight tours there, the atmosphere is just gloomy. Consider yourself warned.
oh yes
thats why im going to maybe see a few more schools before i go consider whether or not i'll be going there......although it is fairly close to where i live, about a 30 minute drive, as well as a good school ... i don't think i want to be this close to home...and well...like kjhsscioly said, the atmosphere isn't that great..

I'm going to Boston over the Labor Day weekend - apparently our hotel is in the MIT campus. I was planning on looking around MIT, Harvard, etc and Boston itself, but we'll see if there's anything to do besides walk around the campuses, since it is Labor Day. I hope everything isn't closed or something.

My cousin just started there a week or two ago. I think his major is undecided right now, but he's probably planning on doing music.

I don't have many plans, but University on Urbana/Champaign looks good. For engineering

Gah, the worst thing about college is applying. I'm buried in discarded essays and CommonApp screenshots.
