It seemed that I had given the clue during a long vacation, no officers were doing anything. I guess they did have a few leads, but nothing substantial. I shrugged. Their loss.

He was sitting across from me in the booth. We had been chatting for several minutes now, and it was time to leave. I gave an excuse to use the restroom, and quickly proceeded out the back door of the kitchen. As I walked past the front door, I saw him make a motion to leave. I clicked my remote. An old anvil that hung from the ceiling (who hangs an anvil in a restaurant?) dropped. On Mingtian. Ouch.
Shall we begin?
A faux Shirley Temple=Many people thought Shirley Temple played the part of Annie in the original production, but she did not.
Grace Jones AND Barbra Streisand AND The Manhattans (a spelling mistake) all sang versions of the song "Tomorrow"
Harold the Grey=Harold Gray (caught this spelling mistake)=wrote the comic strip "Little Orphan Annie"

As you can see, it all points toward the musical "Annie" and the song "Tomorrow."

And, in Chinese, mingtian, with the right intonation, means "Tomorrow," he was targeted in this clue.
New clue in 12 hours.

It was midnight when I slipped a note under the police station door. It read:
'Tis true, quantum physics is my favorite study.
But I do like biological concepts too, such as the ultimate answer to life as well.
There was also that great Will Smith movie, but I do believe the actual weight is 20. Not that I really understood the point of the title. Or the movie. Ok, I guess I'm terrible at analyzing movies.

The third line is about the movie 7 Pounds. The second part of the second line is 42, but I'm not sure how that's biological.

so it seems to be all about numbers. quantum physics might have something to do with foreverphysics, but i find that very unlikely because it is so obvious, and ignores the rest of the clue. It is probably a red herring, or even just unintentional

Is there anyone on the Political Compass test who got close to that ordered pair?
There is also the saying: The answer to life is seven.
I have no idea what 7 Pounds is, but okay.
This seems to put heavy emphasis on "seven".

Squanto mentioned his avatar is from a movie.
Squanto has seven letters in his name.
I have seven letters in both my nicknames.
Squanto is an officer.
I've been participating a lot.
The "quantum physics" part may or may not be a red herring.
Most people know I cannot do pop culture for the life of me.
Make of that what you will.

Physics is difficult for 99% of the world's population because they don't understand it. The other 1% know too much.

Foreverphysics was screaming incoherent sentences in the town square. But, one word that did persist was Squanto. Well, she was correct. Funny though, Squanto didn't hear her at all. He must have been set on dying. Later that day, I visited him, and put a bullet in his heart as a parting gift.
Well, the most important part of this clue is the first and last line. The last line states, "1: 1,3" which meant look at line 1 and find the 1st and 3rd word. Those happen to be "tis" and "quantum", which when put together is "tisquantum" another name of Squanto. The 2nd line referred to 42, which was Squanto's age when he died. The last line referred to 20 pounds, or the amount Squanto was to be sold for in Spain.
New clue in 24 hours.

Officers.
Step it up.
Accuse.
Find some leads.
At least protect, even if you're not sure.
We have at the very most six days left in this game. We can't waste time.
And isn't Idaho retired from these games?

Perhaps replacement officers would speed up the game.
I've been dead for a month. I can't help but post.
