Generally, the wiki is a good place to start, but don't rely on it for everything. Once you get past the beginning, the internet is your best friend.

To me it always depends what event you plan on doing.

For example, practice events you should, well practice.
I.E. For game on start getting used to the code, or for ExpD get used to writing fast and making graphs

My forte is study events, and for that I generally like to use textbooks or the web. Textbooks are really great because it's reliable information all compiled into one place. I own several for meteorology and a couple for potions. Textbooks are a great investment to me as you can use them in the future for other things as well. You can find some pre-owned ones on Amazon for a good price.

Another thing you should do is establish what events you want to try or do next season. Div B is loose and are on general topics at first, so if you start studying now you'll have a major advantage over those who didn't. To start studying, I recommend using the past events rules. Most, if not all of Div B can be found in previous rule booklets. Ask you coach if they have them, they're an amazing resource for early studying. You can always search up the rulebooks online too...
