What will be the basis of the Sounds of Music event for the upcoming year (Division C)?
While I'm not familiar with the event, having never done it, I'd guess that the wiki page does a great job explaining it.

Possibly the Chemistry committee, depending on whether or not they've decided on one yet. Besides that, no.

If memory serves me, aren't the net years events released by now?

They are not until the rules are officially released. This thread just contains the "best guesses" (based on SOSI, etc). But yes, as Tailsfan said, this is all in the first post.
B: Crave the Wave, Environmental Chemistry, Robo-Cross, Meteorology, Physical Science Lab, Solar System, DyPlan (E and V), Shock Value
C: Microbe Mission, DyPlan (Earth's Fresh Waters), Fermi Questions, GeoMaps, Gravity Vehicle, Scrambler, Rocks, Astronomy

See the first post of this thread.
What does the first post have to do with my question?
In some previous years the next year events and rules were released toward the end of May. It is now June.

The tentative list of next year's events is in the first post - you might be thinking of the official tentative event table which is typically posted in late May or early June (it's not on soinc.org yet but Ohio has it on their website). The draft rules are released at SOSI in mid-July - this is the first tentative rules released outside of the rules committees.

Yes, I just remember a list of the events without the final rules being available by this time. Thank you.

Division C has to be glider. There is no way it can be wright stuff since wright stuff was in Div C two years ago. Same thing for gliders for Division B. They have to continue the rotation and pattern of Glider, Wright Stuff, and Helicopters (yes in this particular order).
