School musical

Are any of you guys doing musicals yet, and if so, which ones?
We're doing The Secret Garden, the performances are next week. I find it funny cause the music is so overly dramatic but theres really no conflict except for inner conflict (which is boring).

We're doing one in the spring, but our director hasn't chosen one yet. One of my friends and I agreed that if it's High School Musical, we're quiting.

I believe we've already had 2. The latest one being Noises Off. I think there was one before that but i'll check with one of my friends to be sure. The next one is the Polar Express. Not quite sure how they would turn that into a musical.

Haha one of the jr highs last year did High School Musical and they hated it. You should do Les Mis. We did it a few years ago, and it was the best show we've ever done.

Hmm the Polar Express as a musical? Thats....interesting. Id like to see how that turns out.

Les Mis? Sounds interesting. What's it about?

Its short for Les Miserables, and its about the French Revolution. Almost everyone dies, which is fun. Seriously, it is a really good play with great music. Though it is an operetta, so non-stop music for the pit to play.
