NEWTON-LEIBNIZ ACHIEVEMENT: using the ideal gas law to derive the many gas laws, but albeit having completely forgotten that they exist, and in the end getting the correct answer though not knowing how.
Many instances, but this was one of the memorable ones.

UN-STREET SMART ACHIEVEMENT: Ran around half the campus trying to find Game On, and found that there was a much easier way after the event

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSS. Thermo at the Hammond invy was terrible. Firstly, since it was a small invy each attending school had to Procter an event, and this guy's team was late so he wasn't there for impound. So instead of an adult running impound 3 highshool girls that had no idea how to do an impound. And I asked them where to leave my graphs and charts and they said keep them with you, so I did. Later during the actual event, he tried giving us water that was below the temp. And I told him and he was like, oh uh ok, you guys can start the test while we wait for the water to warm. The test was fine, good length and hard, so nothing too bad there. But ohhhhhh boy, when he did impound. Firstly, he did impounds while we took the test, and pulled us aside for it, taking time out of our 25 min test period. Then, we looked at my box of tools and said,"You can't have that, what's the point of impound if you can make adjustments to your box?". Well I wanted to start tearing him down, but I simply showed him the spot in the rules where it said you can have tools and whatnot. He just shrugged and didn't say anything. What I really wanted to say was,"What's the point of impound if you aren't here?" Then this man said, "Oh, and you didn't bring any charts or graphs so I'm gonna have to dock you for it." BOYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY I WANTED TO THROW DOWN. I told him that the 3 highschool girls talking in their little clique said not to leave them here. And this man said, " Well the rules say that you're supposed to leave them at impound." Ok, 2 things. 1. You weren't even there, and 2. Who are you to be referencing the rules? You tried giving us 50 degree water, and said I can't have tools with me. OOOOOOOOOO I went to my coach after the event and she went straight to the director and she made sure my graphs were taken.

It was reallyyyyyy bad but I ended up getting 3rd so it was worth it.

I mean even if, the rules are the rules and it would mess predictions up greatly.

Uhh, I wouldn't call ES's idiots. You have no idea how hard it is to make a test for an event you personally haven't done, and they are volunteering their own time to help. Sometimes it doesn't go down well, but usually, this type of thing happens at an invite, where tbh it doesn't matter too much in the grand scheme of things.
