Re: Bio-Process Lab B
Oh ok. I guess the best way to start would be to talk to a life science teacher, if your school has one. Learn how to use all the equipment, and learn all the basic concepts.

Great job!!! haha at states for us it was 2 minute stations!! XD So we were reasonably relaxed at nats. Still though time was a real issue. How did you do? We (BCMS from B division) got 6th place!!!

Congratulations on getting a medal! Yeah, 4 minutes felt like forever compared to states. We got 11th, and I thought we had a shot at doing better, but I think the microscopy and ecology stations were what killed us.ichaelm wrote:Great job!!! haha at states for us it was 2 minute stations!! Re: Bio-Process Lab B
We didn't even have stations for ours. We had to take and all written test. Talk about boring! The funny thing is that one of the pages i had as a worksheet in science class!

Re: Bio-Process Lab B
Really? For Regionals or State? Regionals is basically just a practice so everything can be poorly written and messed up. If your're talking about State, then there's a problem.Animefreak4 wrote:We didn't even have stations for ours. We had to take and all written test. Talk about boring! Re: Bio-Process Lab B
What I meant is that the Regionals test can be poorly written with a lot of errors and nobody would care since Regionals is just a practice (well, at least for the States with less Science Olympiad teams). The State competition is a deciding factor for all States so the test should be harder and written more professionally.bubblebrian wrote:I got 6th for state( since I totally messed up)melody2k6 wrote:Really?
