NASA's website got redone recently, so that's probably why. Unless it was a different website, like USGS, I really don't know about that test.

No, it was a totally different site. It was the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) site, or noaa.gov. But I was searching just for the data for like 45 minutes.

A lot of sites, especially government sites, update frequently. The odds of you finding somethings from 2006 are slim.

Just the basics. All you need to do is input the data to make a decent chart, then turn that chart into a graph. In the newer versions of Excel, you can just highlight the chart and select the type of graph you want, and it will convert the data into a chart. The best way to learn is to just mess around with Excel, thats how I learn. But the Compute This Wiki has some good info too.

They aren't supposed to give you anything overly complex but just in case I would know how to graph multiple lines, 2 y-axes and stuff like that just in case.

Then there's equations, like if they give you a chart and ask you to find the average of some numbers or the sum of them or any of those basic operations.

Sometimes Excel isn't so user-friendly. It takes some practice to get what you want.

...and you'd wanna familiarize yourself with different versions of Excel, not that they're that much different...and Macs/Windows...if you can...
