yeah. it is a maglev car. it has to hav a track, or it will not be maglev.

I know last year we used fiberglass though I'm not really sure how it worked since we always had something dumb go wrong with the car and I wasn't on the event

really? we just use wood. it isn't very easy making sleds out of pine. but, it is good size and the right weight so its good.

I used balsa and masonite. I got 1st at regionals, but 35th at states. (stupid guy had the polarity reversed-----Uggh) :x
