I'm sure fossils of some kind can be found anywhere... I wonder if fossils are abundant in the depths of the ocean? Has anyone ever tried to excavate undersea fossils?

A fun fact, the #1 fossils team at nats was from NC.
Really? I know there are some by the coast... I need to research that.

No, third. But still, considering it was an easy event, I'm just happy I got a medal..... which I should be very happy about anyway! :D :D :D

Easy event? Do you mean easy test? I wasn't there so I wouldn't know, but I wouldn't call fossils an 'easy event'.

Yeah- I use the two interchangeably. The test was as follows:
What is specimen 1?
2?
3?
4?
Are they all trilobites?
All multiple choice. Way too easy.

Well, in B division in 2009. I did B division birds, and it was pretty good. Not hard, not easy.
