I think continental clouds form over the land, while maritime clouds form over the water

I saw some great cumulonimbus clouds today. Then I saw the news helicopter heading into them. Coincidence?

This is the best part of the year to prepare for severe storms, which I think will be next year's topic. Watch the skies as much as you can.

Well, it's tornado season. Be prepared for those cumulonimbus, and lots of storms.

Yes, look at the rules sheet, it will have the topics you need to know. The Meteorology page on the wiki has some great information, so you could probably make your note sheet off of that. Another good idea is to look at the sample tests. I know there's one on the North Carolina Science Olympiad page, under Event Resources.

Hi!!
Could someone explain geopotential height to me? I don't understand if it is a constant, or it it always changes.
Thanks!
