Magnetic Declination

If they give magnetic declination on a map,
and they said find it after 12 years. How do u do those?
And...
If they said find the latitute sometihng and longitude someting, how do u find it?
like, with minutes and seconds.
and how do u do the map drawing activity

SOME ONE HELP ME!! STATES IN 2 DAYS!!!!

thanks, right now: preparing my binder for road scholar (we are allowed to bring a binder of notes)

Some one plz helpp
finding magnetic declination over time
azimuths and bearings
drawing a map using their instructions

Azimuth and Bearing: I know I've explained this before. Go back a few pages on this thread.

Build-a-map: Very simple, just have a map symbols sheet, a protractor, and a ruler. Know how to read PLSS. It's really very self explanatory.

Magnetic Declination: I'm working on it.

how does one tell whether to add up or subtract down from a given contour measure? i can usually tell when its a hill or mountain, but when the land is pretty flat, i dont know

Do your best and use common sense, you'll probably be able to figure it out using the index contours.
