At my regionals they didn't check anything too thoroughly-- I"m guessing they just enforced that rule by not making internet available. So, I would guess it's ok... but it may depend on the situation. You'd probably be safer copy+pasting the info onto a Word document.

As long as there's no connection to the internet you should be fine.

Thanks. I might just try to centralize all of the information in a word document, but if I run out of time, then I'll just leave it the way it is.

Not really. Reach is more of observation of stars, their life cycle, and characteristics. Astronomy is much more math and celculations, as well as characteristics of specific objects and pictures.

ah, I see. So its like a variation of solar system-with more charts and graphs etc.

Astronomy has aspects of both Reach for the Stars and Solar System, with a little more thrown in. If you want to get a feel for the event, look at some of the past nationals tests. It changes topics from year to year, but the essence is pretty much the same.

Which spiral arm is our solar system in? It was on my States test yesterday, and we weren't completely sure. I've heard that it's the Orion Spur, but does that count as an arm?
