Re: Building materials, covering
THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!!!
I did the fix, and it worked perfectly. The plane may have lost a second per flight (if anything), and flying on an old piece of rubber with a max altitude of ~15 ft., I was still hitting 2:33 (I got my best times on newer rubber flying to the ceiling of a ~22 ft. gym)!

Eta150,
I'm glad my two teams are not in Pa. Sounds like you have it dialed in! Good luck. Let us
know how you place. Our Regionals are this Saturday, but my two schools will be at two different
Regionals, so I'll have to pick one! There should be a lot of events to report on this weekend,
so everyone out there be sure to record the top times, and report them back here.

Regionals on a MONDAY? Wow, that's tough. Ours has switched from its usual Friday to a Thursday, 3/11. We are also switching form Moravian to Kutztown University. The flying space is wider, but not nearly as high, probably 25' of safe flying space.
Good luck to you!

Re: Building materials, covering
Maybe there should be a thread for repairs but we got a tear in our covering when trimming off the excess and in preparing a patch noticed that the mylar was almost as hard as tape in sticking to itself. So we wetted the repair spot and gently rolled the wing over the laid out patch. Had a snow day yesterday so got some gym time and It has held amazingly well over 10 flights
I WILL RETURN TO PHILMONT IN JULY!
