It seems like you got your answer, but to others with the same problem submit a rule clarification to your state asking the dimensions. Sometimes, however, the state might not know where it will be held until only a short time before the competition.In the rules it says that we should have the dimensions of the room that we will be flying in. Because that doesn't seem to actually happen, if anyone is from PA here, do you know the dimensions for the room at Juniata?
Juniata's IM gym is about 35' high in the center, as eta150 said. However, it slopes down to around 20' or less at the sides, so you don' t really have 35' to work with. A tight circling plane is advantage if you want to use the height that is there.
