Hold on there. You can't expect us to compete with those powerhouses considering we've never gotten higher than 9th at states. We still have to focus on making states for the first time in school history. Maybe making top 20 at states is a more realistic goal if we make it. I think you've been a bit spoiled in going to states every year you've done it.

I wouldn't say our incoming sophomores are any better than the seniors that we will be losing. Just very different. Our seniors were incredibly bright, but weren't motivated enough to dedicate a good chunk of time to Science Olympiad. Our sophomores will have the dedication, but they can't match the academic experience that our seniors had. Considering the seniors (and everyone else, for that matter) put very little study time into their events, the fact that we still get medals and consistently make States says a lot. Now we don't just want to settle with being "the decent team that doesn't work but still goes to states."

Many of our newbie to-be juniors that will be joining us next year have no experience with Science Olympiad. To say the least, it will be a fresh start for LM Science Olympiad, but the seniors we'll be losing will definitely be missed. We have a long way to go until we can rival Penncrest and Harriton, but I believe we can do it... in time.
Those who think they know everything annoy those of us who actually do.
Be nice to nerds, chances are you'll end up working for one of us.

I believe in LM's comeback. Hopefully my friends (and possibly me, if people can convince me to go to LM instead of Harriton) will be a part of that.

I'm very excited to see East Stroudsburg South at States. I hope for you guys to be there!

See you guys next year at States and maybe Regionals! For my first year, it's been a great one. :D  :) ;) 8-)

Well, as long as we survive regionals, then I'll be excited to be able to participate there as part of the high school. :D

Can't wait for next year... :D I'll be participating and student coaching, which equals two times the fun.<-(I'm not even sure if that's sarcastic or not.)

Good luck to everyone at Regionals and States next year!
