That's what it was supposed to do. That's why it was a Ksp lab.

I found the reaction rates/titration lab pretty interesting but it was hard to take accurate data with no timers

I completely agree, it would have been much better with a simple timer...

lllazar is correct. They got 58th in WIDI.

I still can't get over the fact of how hard the structure was. It was really anyones game.

This is a little late, but I'm just wondering: Do they always give out those Luminary medals, or was it just a U of I thing?

They don't always, but this isn't the first time they have.

i think the luminary medals are the ones that everyone got for participating at nationals, and the regular medals were for top six in each event.

Here in Illinois, the 1st place spot at state is undisputed New Trier...and the 2nd spot is pretty much a toss up every year between Stevenson, IMSA and Naperville Central...but either way, there isnt much of a chance for anyone else.

That kind of competitiveness isn't just in the big states. In Idaho, both the B and C division are dominated by the same schools, and usually, no other schools come close. Sometimes in the B division there is a close call, but not in C. I kind of feel sorry for the other schools I competed against.
