um, isnt alaska the biggest state?

Well TX was until the US bought Alaska but they probably came up with that before Alaska was bought. But I'm not an expert on TX so this is all presumption.

I think it has to do with the revolution and diehard patriotism. And Texas is the largest of the lower 48, and Alaska is a frozen wasteland.............. ;)

On a slightly different note, what are the most common items seen at the swap meet? I would think liscense plates for sure, but what other common stuff is there?
