Robot Arm B/C [Trial]

Post by Jim_R »

Discussion for Robot Arm.
-The path of the Administrator is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men.

-Nothing\'s gonna get deleted. We\'re gonna be like three little Fonzies here. And what\'s Fonzie like? Come on, what\'s Fonzie like?
-Cool?
-Correctamundo. And that\'s what we\'re gonna be. We\'re gonna be cool. Now, I\'m gonna count to three, and when I count three, you let go of your mouse, and back away from the keyboard. But when you do it, you do it cool. Ready? One... two... three.

It is going to be a trial event at the national competition. I don't know which states are doing it.
When it comes to the future, there are three kinds of people: those who let it happen, those who make it happen, and those who wonder what happened.

Some states said they might be running it in place of Sumo Bots. We'll see.

Isn't Sumo Bots an actual event this year, and not a trial event?

Then how can some states choose not to have Sumo Bots, but have Robot Arm instead?

States (and Regions especially) sometimes announce that they won't be running an event for logistical or scheduling reasons. If they can't run Sumo for some reason, but could run Robot Arm instead...seems like they could ...dunno if they would actually use if for scoring, but its possible. Won't know for sure if any states are till they update their sites.
