I'm rebuilding my plane, so should I make the pieces I'm going to glue together overlap or no? As in, for example, the wings?

Like when we are gluing the wood pieces together, should the pieces overlap, or should they not?

If they do, it would make a much stronger joint. However, it is up to you to decide if you really need that much strength there. Most of the time, you'll be fine w/o the pieces overlapping.

Thanks, because I'm having a hard time trying to cover the frame when the pieces overlap.

Yeah, that's true. For the wing, the overlap isn't necessary. Actually, the only place you might want overlap is when connecting the motor stick to the tailboom

Yeah, you shouldn't overlap them.

Oh okay. Thanks. ^^

My plane broke 4 times in a row, I am now officially thrown into [maybe permanent] depression.

Does anyone know an average flight time for these planes? Top flight times? And are there anymore videos and tips for this event? Thanks for the help.

Could you estimate an average flight time that is reasonable for the top 10 places at Nats? I want to know so I have a set goal to get to.
