Flying Bird B/C [Trial]

Post by Jim_R »

Discussion for Flying Bird B/C, a National trial event.

2009/2010 Rules (PM the admins if there is a more recent one)
-The path of the Administrator is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men.

-Nothing\'s gonna get deleted. We\'re gonna be like three little Fonzies here. And what\'s Fonzie like? Come on, what\'s Fonzie like?
-Cool?
-Correctamundo. And that\'s what we\'re gonna be. We\'re gonna be cool. Now, I\'m gonna count to three, and when I count three, you let go of your mouse, and back away from the keyboard. But when you do it, you do it cool. Ready? One... two... three.

Demo events don't necessarily have to be done by a member of the team.

My ornithologist instincts tell me this is one event I need to see.
ornithology, forestry, entomology, triple E, green generation, water quality, dynamic planet (lakes & rivers), awesome aquifers, meteorology, robot arm, write it do it. :)

No matter what the experiment's result, there will always be someone eager to:(a) misinterpret it(b) fake it, or (c) believe it supports his own pet theory.

EDIT: i dont want to double post so i will use this post instead. We are having a serious problem with getting the ornithopter to flap properly. For example, it flaps fine when the paper for the wings is not there but then when the wing paper is added,it flaps really slowly.

Has it been confirmed that the 2010 rules are this year's rules too? I mean, they're on Soinc and they're the only rules we can find, but it'd be good if we could know for sure.
