Can't Judge a Powder B

Most of the times when running test the powder is an a beaker or medicinal type container that has ml increments if they are going to ask how much powder was given.
The best way to determine if you are allowed to bring it to a competion is to A submit a rule clarification since it isn't specifically mention and a Graduated cylinder isn't really used to test solubility and than Contact the Competion director just to make sure

Quick question: when you add a powder to H20, and the pH changes, does that mean that the powder is soluble in water? (or if the conductivity changes)

yes you are allowed to bring a gradulated cylinder to the event
me and my partner brought it to regionals, so you should be fine

Actually, what I would say would be:
When the substance is placed in the NaOH, the solution formed a _____ (_____= whatever you want to call it)

yes it would be soluble

Never assume that all regionals are run the same (they aren't) hence the reason contacting the regional CJAP proctor would be a good idea just to double check

when a powder is dissolved in H2O, that means its soluble

Most of the time it's easier to just write the formula anyway, so it's not like it's a hassle. :3
Just Make sure you don't write the wrong formula than you would have problems

actually, it would be fine because all regionals allow you to bring things on the official soinc list.
