Optics B/C

Post by Jim_R »

-The path of the Administrator is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men.

-Nothing\'s gonna get deleted. We\'re gonna be like three little Fonzies here. And what\'s Fonzie like? Come on, what\'s Fonzie like?
-Cool?
-Correctamundo. And that\'s what we\'re gonna be. We\'re gonna be cool. Now, I\'m gonna count to three, and when I count three, you let go of your mouse, and back away from the keyboard. But when you do it, you do it cool. Ready? One... two... three.

It sounds interesting enough, but I don't know if I'll have time this year. I'd like to do it, but I'm not sure if I can fit it in.

I'm hoping to get Optics, although I'm probably not going to have much say in the events I get, being a lowly freshman. It really does sound fascinating though.

What reference materials do we get? A page of notes? A binder like Crave the Wave? Nothing?

In the past the Physics Lab event has gotten a binder. However, it is difficult to answer this question for certain without the new rules.
When it comes to the future, there are three kinds of people: those who let it happen, those who make it happen, and those who wonder what happened.

Sweet, it turns out I'm going to be doing this event. Looking at the draft rules, I think my vast gaming knowledge might finally come in handy. Has anyone played Khet? There are a few similarities.

:| It's a board game. Video games really can't. Or at least get offset by the fact you aren't doing anything except pressing buttons. But let's not get into a gaming discussion on this thread.

Oh. Okay then.
Although I'm sure there are a few video games dealing with optics. It would be pretty easy to make, I think.

Don't mean to intrude, but your comment immediately made me think to this game.

Though I'm not too sure how optics-related it is.
